Well, we were born locally, we live locally, employ locals,
sell to locals and make 100 per cent of our products in
our local bakery, using local companies to supply us…
Yes, I think we’ve got that ‘Local’ bit covered.

Produce?

We have all the usual classic bakery goods that you would
hope to find at your local artisan bakery and a few more
besides. In the search for perfection our products evolve
constantly - so pop in once in a while and see what's new.

Fresh Bread
Everything from French Sticks to family loaves via
Stilton & Cranberry Bread & 3 seeded wholemeals.

Sweet Pastries
Classic jam doughnuts, elegant croissants and a cracking
range of Danish pastries.

Delicious Sandwiches
Made and sold on the same day, simple combinations and
very good quality made with our very own bread.

Hand Made Cakes
Ginger teddy bears for the kids, Moorish flapjacks, double
chocolate muffins, warm bread pudding….the list goes on
and on. Try our custard slice – quite simply the best you will find.

Oven Fresh Savouries
Hearty pasties made from high quality local ingredients. We’ve
been making our sausage roll for over 100 years and I think
we’ve nearly perfected it!  We also do Italian with toasted
panini and pizza sticks or keep it home grown with our famous
chunky doorstep Bacon Sandwiches – we sell thousands of these
each week – try one and see why!

Coffees
When we wanted to find a really good coffee to team up with
our delicious bakery goodies we thought we’d go to the people
who knew the most and chose the Italian coffee makers
“Lavazza”.  The kind people there flew us over to their
factory in Turin and showed us what they know. It was
quite a lot, actually, and now we can make
a mean cappuccino.
